Think Out Side The Box

Bouquets: every bride knows a bouquet can be made of fresh flowers but have you considered the alternatives?

flowers made from origami, felt, buttons or fabric is not only a statement of your own style but also could be practical if you suffer from allergies

Search website such as Etsy (www.etsy.com) for these one-of-a-kind bouquets or consider making your own if you are particularly creative. The colours can be anything you fancy so rather then being limited to the usual flower colours, your bouquet could be a rainbow of bright and eye-catching colours that would perfectly compliment your dress.

VENUES: Want to make an impact with your wedding venue? Look at restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, park, boats, museums, galleries or warehouses for a unique venue that will get your guests talking. The best thing about these venues is they may never have done a wedding before so they could be quite flexible and best of all, cheep.

TYPE OF WEDDING: If a traditional church wedding and sit down meal are not your style, think about what would make the wedding fun for you. Perhaps a garden picnic or themed dress-up wedding is more your style. Or would you prefer a private ceremony with only a handful of people, going on to celebrate with a big party held at home? Dont feel pressured into having a wedding that you are not happy with - it is a day to celebrate the love you two have for each other so anything goes!

DRESS: If the idea of a floor length tulle white dress scares you, there are plenty of other options available. A short 1950’s style dress might make you feel like a princess or you may like to consider other colours - maybe bright blue royal reds or hot pinks. There is no rule that says you you even have to wear a dress - would you prefer a sharp pant suit or a skirt and top combination? You want to feel and look your best on the day so go with whatever makes you feel that way.
